Elijah Studio (Ariana, Tunisia) makes BACKROOM. This policy explains what we collect and why. Contact: hello@backroom-studio.online.

What we collect

Account: your email address, and your name if you sign in with Google or Apple.
Licence: an anonymous identifier for your Mac (a one-way hash, not your serial number), your Mac’s name, and when the licence was last checked.
Purchases: plan, status and renewal dates, received from Paddle. We never see or store your card details.

Your footage, audio, project files and their contents never leave your Mac. The app has no analytics or advertising trackers.

Supabase (EU, Frankfurt) — accounts and licence records.
Paddle — our Merchant of Record for payments, invoices and tax (Paddle privacy policy).
Google / Apple — only if you choose to sign in with them.

To provide your account and licence, prevent licence abuse, give support and meet legal obligations.

While your account exists. Delete your account by emailing us and we remove your data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law.

You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data at any time by emailing us.

This website uses no tracking cookies. The checkout page loads Paddle, which uses cookies needed for payment.
